CFS Peer Support Specialist
Partner with parents in advocating for themselves and their children that have complex behavioral and emotional challenges. Provide peer support and assist parents in building a network of support. Empower families by assisting in skill-building and instilling hope. F/T position. Requires having a child involved with the mental health system and two years experience related to job duties. Requires a working knowledge of the children’s system of care and South King County community resources. Requires certification as a peer counselor. Experience with wraparound planning preferred. This position is located at our Auburn location.
Daytime Crisis Specialist
Responsible for meeting with clients in jail or hospital and/or within 7 days of discharge to meet contractual requirements. This individual will be the VCCC primary contract with Jail and Hospital staff in King County. Also, responsible for handling daytime crises of current VCCC clients, face to face and by telephone, as situation requires. MA degree in Behavioral Sciences Field and MHP status required This position is located at our Auburn location.
VC Landing and Housing Programs Manager
This position will supervise staff assigned to VC Landing, our 24 unit housing complex in Auburn that houses veterans and homeless individuals. Will also supervise transitional and permanent housing program staff. MA degree and WA state licensure with 2 yrs experience required. Veteran or family member of veteran preferred. Experience in residential/supportive housing preferred. MA degree in Behavioral Science Field w/State Licensure required.
Adult Services Clinician
Responsible for the delivery of case management services to assigned clients. The Case Manager works in collaboration with the work team to provide systems coordination, treatment planning and implementation. Provide case management and treatment services to include: activity, counseling, and relationship services for clients in support of the treatment plan. Must have BA and 3 yrs plus of clinical services.
Older Adult Services Peer Counselor
Working with older adults who experience severe mental health symptoms. Providing hope, empowerment and courage to individuals seeking recovery and wellness. Must be a WA state registered counselor and be certified as a Peer Counselor within 6 months of hire. This is a part time position, 20 hrs a week. This position is located at our Auburn location.
Clinical Screener
Responsible for screening and disposition requests for services from VCCC. Performs as crisis counselor, as needed. Gathers information for referral to our programs and for statistical purposes. Need to have BA in Behavioral Sciences Field and CDP or CDVT plus 1 year experience.
Licensed Social Worker
Licensed social worker in Washington State to do counseling with older adults on Medicare in outpatient mental health setting. This position is located at our Auburn location.
Wraparound Facilitator
Partner with youth and their families in building support teams, facilitating team meetings, and creating strengths-based and needs-driven plans of care. Requires BA, two years experience in social services and strong meeting facilitation skills. Experience working with emotionally disturbed and behaviorally challenging children and their families preferred.
Peer Support Specialist- HFS
Utilizes personal experience to inspire and assist client families toward their long-term goals. Responsible for supporting client families, advocating for client participation in meaningful life activities, promoting client family voice in identifying goals that promote recovery and resiliency. Identifies and assists clients to obtain needed community resources. Teaches skills related to family life, success in housing, and systems navigation on behalf of children and families. Need to have experience as a consumer of services. This is a part time position. Must have reliable transportation.
Database Coordinator
The Database Coordinator/Development assistant is responsible for administrative and general development duties in the department. Collect, enter and maintain donor information, fund raising data, produce accurate reports, assist in development department mailings and special events as assigned. Keep data secure and confidential. Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet strict deadlines, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work in a professional manner. Must possess solid knowledge and ability to work with relational databases such as Access. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with eTapestry and/or auction software is a plus. Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a Bachelor’s degree that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described. Skills will be tested if selected for an interview.
