What are we looking for in a VC board member?
To expand our reach and better serve our communities, we are seeking Board members with experience in:
📍 Geographic Representation – Particularly from South King County to ensure strong local leadership.
🎨 Marketing & Social Media Communications – To help strengthen our outreach and advocacy efforts.
💰 Fundraising & Business Sponsorships – Especially those with connections to major donors and corporate sponsors.
🌍 BIPOC Representation – To ensure leadership reflects the diverse communities we serve.
🧑🎓 Young Adults – To bring fresh perspectives and lived experience to the Board.
💼 Finance, Legal, IT, and HR Experts – To provide critical strategic guidance in these key operational areas.

Time Commitment and Expectations
📆 3-5 hours per month, with additional time for our annual Board retreat.
