Intake Manager

Position Summary

SIGNING BONUS $5000

The Intake Manager will lead the intake team at Valley Cities (VC), including performing client facing clinical work as needed. The manager works with teams to recruit and hire talent critical to the delivery of client care and good outcomes. Reports directly to Director of Clinical Quality, indirectly to Director of Outpatient Clinics, interfaces with management staff across the agency, and with multiple community partners and resources. Supports the organizational mission and vision, emphasizing teamwork, trust, professionalism, efficiency, and customer service. Core functions include ensuring clinical excellence by overseeing adherence to standards of practice, key performance indicators, data analysis, training, and supervision. Works with clinical excellence specialists to ensure program performance and provides supervision and consultation to intake team to oversee delivery of OP and SUD intake assessments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Oversees all intake operations and ensures that intake staff are following VC policies and procedures.
  • Uses reports provided by clinical excellence to make sure intake team is meeting KPIs.
  • Develops and fosters a culture of collaboration, peer consultation and commitment to professional improvement.
  • Ensures team achieves productivity goal of 60% productivity (24 hours) billable services per full FTE.
  • Provides clinical intake services of 10 intakes per week: 4 completed intakes per FTE.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

  • Fully licensed in Social Work or Counseling related field,
  • WAC approved Clinical Supervisor required.
  • Experience managing, supervising, or leading within an Outpatient clinic setting.
  • Ability to develop supportive and team building clinic environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
