WHAT ARE GROUPS, CLASSES, AND ACTIVITIES?

Valley Cities offers a few different kinds of groups, mainly falling into three categories:

Activities: Individuals getting together for movement and/or activity, such as chair yoga, art, journaling, etc.

Classes: Individuals meeting together in a group setting learning new skills or tools. These classes use Evidence-Based Practices, such as CBT, DBT, WRAP, WHAM, or Love and Logic.

Groups: Individuals meeting together for mutual peer support, such as Coffee and Conversation, Coping During Covid-19, and Sister Building Sister.

Groups Calendar

The calendar below shows all the groups available at Valley Cities. You can use the Venue, Category, Tag, and Organizer menus to filter the groups by clinic location, type of group, topic, and facilitator. You will notice that some groups are currently open, while others are closed, and some are still online/virtual, while others are in-person at clinics. Online groups are generally available to all clients, while in-person groups are generally only available to clients receiving care at that specific clinic location. All groups are by referral only unless otherwise indicated. Please check back monthly for updates. If you have a question about a group, ask a member of your care team.
