Mental Health Services

We provide mental health services for children, teens, adults, and seniors, including individual, family, and group counseling, and for a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more.

What are evidence-based practices?

Evidence-based practice (EBP) in mental health combines scientific research, clinical expertise, and patient preferences to ensure effective treatment. It relies on high-quality studies to determine what works, clinicians’ judgment to apply these methods appropriately, and patients’ values to guide personalized care. This approach helps ensure treatments are safe, effective, and tailored to individual needs.

Types of EBP’s

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Effective for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other disorders.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Originally developed for borderline personality disorder, now used for self-harm, emotional regulation, and more.
Exposure Therapy: Commonly used for phobias and PTSD.
Medication Management: Such as SSRIs for depression and anxiety, guided by clinical guidelines.
Motivational Interviewing (MI): Helps with substance use disorders and behavior change.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR): Used for anxiety, depression, and stress.

We offer support that can help clients stabilize their life. This wide range of support services include housing and employment services as well as specialized outreach, treatment, and mental health programs for military veterans, children and families, and people experiencing homelessness.
