Kitchen Cook will report to the Program Manger and will be responsible for assisting in all kitchen operations for Recovery Place Seattle including planning, preparing, and executing meal production, inventory management, maintaining a food safety plan and executing menu and recipe standards.
Work is performed inside and outside in varying temperatures. Work is conducted within the various Valley Cities’ sites and partner sites. Employee may occasionally be required to push or lift up to 25 pounds, twisting and stooping requiring upper and lower body strength. Employee may be exposed to office supply odors or vapors. Employee is sitting, most of the time. Employee is also required to stand, walk, type, bend, write, read, interpret and explain complex issues and speak on the telephone.
