What is Valley Cities Landing?

Valley Cities Landing is a 24-unit permanent supportive housing project in Auburn, dedicated to serving individuals with mental illness and a history of homelessness who are unable to stay housed without a wide range of services. Twelve of the 24 units are dedicated for homeless veterans and four units are ADA units for residents with physical disabilities. Residents of Valley Cities Landing engage in on-site and community-based services that help them live with stability, autonomy, and dignity. The services include case management, mental health and substance use counseling, peer counseling, employment counseling, development of life skills, and improving self-sufficiency.

Eligibility for Valley Cities Landing

  • Individuals 18-99
  • Meet HUD definition of chronic homelessness
  • Have a documented disability (Physical or Mental health)
  • Income at or below 30% Area median income
  • Rent: 30% of gross income with deduction for disability or zero rent if no income
  • 12 set-asides for Veterans
  • Referrals to the program from King County Coordinated Entry System
