Wraparound is proven and effective in developing and coordinating care plans that build on the strengths of the child and family. Who works in the Wraparound Program?

Like all clients at Valley Cities, Wraparound clients have care teams to meet all the needs of children and their families. Your Wraparound care team will be made up of staff dedicated to holistic care.

  • Facilitators: Staff members trained in team facilitation, who will meet with a family, listen to their story, help the youth build a team of natural and formal supports, and guide this team through the Wraparound process.

  • Parent Partners: Parents/guardians with first-hand experience raising a child with mental health or behavioral challenges, who work to promote positive relationships between families, service providers, and community supports.

  • Youth Peers: Individuals with direct experience with mental health services or other youth-serving systems, who use this experience to collaborate with and support Wraparound clients in achieving their goals.

  • WISe Clinicians: Families enrolled in the WISe program will also work with a Valley Cities Masters-level clinician trained to provide intensive support to youth and families, including outreach and community-based support.
