Recovery Place Seattle (RPS) is committed to the care and treatment of those in our community suffering from substance use disorders with 24/7 admissions. At RPS we are dedicated to reaching those outside the traditional healthcare system by reducing barriers to access and providing equitable care to all members of our community.
Both our Medical Detox and 28-day Intensive Residential programs are staffed with a compassionate team of providers trained to provide holistic care to the individual. Clients find healing and reconnect to their community through participation in evidence-based services, which include counseling and support groups. We focus on caring for the whole person, which includes caring about what happens once they leave our program. From relapse prevention to sober housing, our clients are able to reclaim their lives.

For a scheduled bed date, a professional referent must fax in a filled out screening form.
After it has been received an intake staff member will reach out to arrange an intake appointment.

Recovery Place Kent
Recovery Place Kent is a 32-bed licensed Co-occurring facility offering both Evaluation & Treatment and Secure Withdraw Management beds, primarily serving King County. All clients are brought to the facility on involuntary status, with on-site video King County Court proceedings.
Secure Withdraw Management (SWMS): In 2018, the State of Washington passed Ricky’s Law, which enables Designated Crisis Responders to detain clients for substance abuse, under the Revised Code of Washington. Valley Cities is the first to open a facility of this kind in King County, serving a population that would otherwise go untreated.
Evaluation & Treatment (E&T): Serving the mentally ill safely and comprehensively has always been the heart of Valley Cities. As Valley Cities’ first Acute Residential psychiatric Treatment Facility, this gives us a whole new way to serve our community. From offering medication adjustment and stabilization, to programing and individualized discharging planning, we can create a unique treatment experience by offering Co-occurring services.
Co-Occurring: Becoming a true licensed co-occurring facility enables us the ability to serve both mental health and substance abuse which often go hand in hand. We have specialized staffing to support this model, as well as comprehensive programming and discharge planning to foster clients’ recovery in both mental health and substance abuse from admission to discharge.
